Construction, reconstruction and full repair of buildings

1. “GDIP” SE participated and assisted in the construction of the following buildings: the Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands at 7 Kontraktova Sq.; the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus at 3 Kotsiubynskoho Mykhaila St.; residential buildings at 21 Ukrainky Lesi Blvd., 4 Hoholivska St., 12 Sichovykh Striltsiv (Artema) St. and 6-A Pyrohova St.; a residential complex at the corner of 46 Turhenivska St. and 11 Pavlivska St., a residential building at 47-49 Zlatoustivska St., etc. 

2. The reconstruction of offices and buildings: the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia at 50/51 Sichovykh Striltsiv (Artema) St., the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway at 15 Striletska St., the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan at 16 Volodymyrska St., the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba at 5 Bekhterievskyi Ln., the Embassy of Turkmenistan at 6 Pushkinska St., the Embassy of Romania at 8 Kotsiubynskoho Mykhaila St. and the Consular Department of the Embassy of Romania at 4 Hoholivska Str, the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt at 19 Observatorna St., the Embassy of Malaysia at 18 Arsenalna St., the Residence of the Ambassador of the Republic of India at 3 Yaroslaviv Val St., the Residence of the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany at 15 Antonovycha (Horkoho) St., NATO Representation at 4-L Sikorskoho Ihoria Aviakonstructora St., etc.; buildings at 12 Fedorova Ivana St. and 12 Striletska St.

3. The reconstruction with extension of premises and reconstruction of engineering networks of the Residence of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan at 29 Shevchenka Tarasa Blvd., Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv.

4. “GDIP” SE participated in the reconstruction of buildings at 22, 24, 26 Yaroslaviv Val St. for the four-star hotel “Radisson SAS Kyiv”. 

5. “GDIP” SE assisted in the registration of the right to lease and permanent use of land plots for the Embassies of Canada, Georgia, the Republic of Lithuania, the Italian Republic, the Holy See (Vatican), the USA, the Republic of Turkey and others.

6. The registration of the ownership right over the building of the Embassy of the Holy See (Vatican) at 40-A Turhenievska St.

7. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall, which cut off West Berlin from East Berlin and East Germany, GDIP assisted in the installation of a piece of the Berlin Wall near the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Kyiv at 25 Khmelnytskoho Bohdana St. Pieces of the Berlin Wall became symbols of freedom and were installed in many big cities around the world: New York, Madrid, Buenos Aires, Riga, and henceforth in Kyiv.

8. The complex development of a land plot at 4-6 Sikorskoho Ihoria Aviakonstructora St., Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, which includes:

• 7-storey administration building of “GDIP” SE;

• four 25-storey residential buildings and underground parking;

• landscaped areas;

• playgrounds.

9. The complete renovation of the building of the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia at 6-B Mazepy Ivana St., Pecherskyi district of Kyiv, including installation of a free-running generator and landscaping of the territory.

10. The reconstruction of buildings at 8-B Heroiv Kosmosu St. for the Directorate “Avtotsentr”, which includes:

• administration building;

• indoor heated parking for 90 cars;

• wash bays for cars and trucks;

• car repair workshop with 10 car lifts;

• lounges for transit drivers;

• independent solid fuel heating module;

• reconstructed engineering networks;

• landscaped area.

11. The complete renovation of a non-residential building at 33-B Honchara Olesia St. for departments of the Directorate “Rembudekspluatatsia”, which includes:

• round-the-clock emergency repair service;

• office and amenity premises;

• diplomatic post boxes for embassies and international organizations.

12. The complete renovation of the building and utility systems of the Embassy of the Czech Republic at 34 Yaroslaviv Val St.

Projects in progress

1. The search is on for partners to develop a land plot of 89,4151 ha at Bohatyrska St. northward from the Bay of Verbliud, Obolonskyi district of Kyiv, with permitted use for “construction and operation of a golf-club for the Diplomatic Corps”.

2. The search is on for partners to rebuild a kindergarten (or other educational establishment) for employees of diplomatic missions and residents of Kyiv at 27-A Kopernika St. (a land plot of approximately 0,43 ha). The two-storey building is to be reconstructed with an extension and to become an up-to-date complex with playgrounds, art and dance studios, gyms, a fruit garden, landscape areas, a mini-zoo and other education, arts and sports facilities.

3. The State Enterprise ‘Directorate-General for Rendering Services to Diplomatic Missions’ (the GDIP SE) is looking for an investor and constructor in order to perform land development for a lad plot of 0,1186 ha at Zhambyla Zhabaieva St. in Shevchenkivskyi district of the city of Kyiv.

According to the Order of the Kyiv City State Administration as of 28.11.2018 # 2130, the land plot with the cadaster number 8000000000:91:056:0096 was granted to the GDIP SE for permanent use (an excerpt from the State Register of Real Property Rights about the registration of the property right as of 26.04.2019 # 165120936) with the following purpose of the land: the construction, exploitation and maintenance of the service center for visitors of the Consular department of the U.S. Embassy and other diplomatic objects. The category of the land: for residential and public buildings. As stated in the plan, the land plot is a rectangular one.

According to the urban planning conditions and restrictions for designing a construction site as of 18.12.2019 # 27763/0/7-1-19 provided by the Department of the Urban Planning and Architecture, which were approved by the Order of the Department of the Urban Planning and Architecture as of 02.01.2020 # 11, the permissible building height is 23 meters.

As indicated in the preliminary sketch projects, it is planned to construct a 6-storey office building with a one-level underground parking garage for 20 parking spaces and an operated roof. In addition to the service center for visitors of the Consular department of the U.S. Embassy, it is reasonable to place there a bank, a restaurant, a café, enterprises providing services for the visitors and public, namely: a notary office, a translation bureau, a pharmacy, a dry cleaning reception desk, a hair and beauty salon, storage rooms, a hostel and/or a hotel/apartments. On the operated roof it is possible to place a terrace for rest, a bar or a café.

The GDIP’s share should be not less than 20 % of the total area of the construction site and consist of the office premises with a proportional number of underground parking spaces and appropriate engineering equipment.
